    Before Tuesday's game, the seniors of the Hillsboro Lady Indians' volleyball team were honored. During the match, the Madison-Plains Lady Golden Eagles and HHS went toe-to-toe for two of the three sets, but in the end, it was MP who swept HHS in three sets for the South Central Ohio League win.

    The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs are back on top of the Southern Hills League mountain in boys soccer. The Mustangs clinched the outright Division I SHL soccer championship with a 3-1 win over the Fayetteville Rockets, Friday at Fayetteville High School.

    The Southern State Community College Patriots continue to be ranked in the Top 10 in the nation in men's soccer. According to Head Coach Josh Thoroman, the Patriots have been ranked eighth in the nation for two weeks in a row. This ranking is among all colleges competing in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

  • Reds swept in NLDS
    The Cincinnati Reds gave away white rally towels to fans in attendance before the game Sunday night's National League Division Series Game 3 at Great American Ball Park. By the end of nine innings, the Reds were forced to throw in their own white towel on the 2010 season, as the Phillies defeated the Reds, 2-0 to sweep the NLDS in three games.
