    At Miami Trace, the Panthers contained Hugh Ballein and Bruce Ames and held the Hillsboro rushing attack to 131 yards, keeping them out of the end zone all night, as Trace rolled up 250 total yards of offense and shut out the Indians, 22-0. Thus, the Trace squad captured another SCOL football championship – and another gold football.

  • Paints setting the bar high in 2011
    Returnees from last year’s championship team include: outfielder David Turnbull (Dartmouth College); first baseman, Ian Neilsen (Taylor University); pitcher, Ryan Robertson (Rio Grande); and pitcher, Jason “Boomer” Moultan (Ohio). The Paints will also welcome back left-handed pitcher, Clayton Schulz from North Florida. Schulz was an All-Star starter for Chillicothe in 2009, and played last summer in Florida.
