The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs gained another Southern Hills League win Wednesday evening, defeating the Eastern Brown Warriors, 11-6 at EBHS.
LC batted 11 times in the fourth inning, scoring six runs to seal the win.
Ryan Doss made the start for the Mustangs to earn the win. He pitched 5 1-3 innings, allowing one earned run and striking out five. Doss also produced from the plate, hitting a home run, his first of the season, in the sixth inning.
Scott Cawood pitched one inning of relief, striking out one, while allowing one earned run.
Wes Pierson pitched 2-3 of an inning.
At the plate for LC, Colin Creek was 3-for-4 with a triple and double. Austin Fawley went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, two steals and two runs.
