Dr. Thomas S. Henry, of Shawnee, Okla., passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025. He was 83. 

Mary Alice (Ring) Ellis was born in Sardinia on June 23, 1937 to Lorin William and Alice Edith (Baker) Ring. 

Tammy L. Berry, 75, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Earl M. Stone Sr., 62 of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025.  

Gladys Marie Martin, 95, of the Buford community, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025 at Salyers Adult Group Home in Hillsboro. 

Ray G. Smith, a beloved father, grandfather and friend, departed this life on Oct. 7, 2025 at the age of 83. 

Virgil H. Tharp, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away Oct. 8, 2025. 

Emma Jean (Smith) Puckett, 88, of Hillsboro, formerly of the Sinking Spring community, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 at the Hospice of Hope in Seaman.

Connie King-Sauer (Connie Lowe) of Crossville, Tenn. passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 with her loving family at her bedside. 

William “Bill” L. West, 88, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. 

With a spirit that shone brightly and a heart that embraced all who knew him, Bradley Clay Bourne, of Hillsboro, peacefully passed away on Oct. 5, 2025.
