Anthony "Tony" R. Ramsden

Anthony "Tony" R. Ramsden, of Leesburg, passed away Feb. 27, 2026 at the age of 64.

Born on June 6, 1961, in Washington Court House, Tony was a beloved husband, brother and friend who touched the lives of many with his kind spirit and adventurous nature.

Tony graduated from Fairfield High School, where he made lasting memories that shaped his values and passions. Known for his strong work ethic, he devoted himself to his career as a truck driver, a profession that not only served his family but also allowed him to explore the open roads he loved so much.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Tony enjoyed the simpler things in life. He found joy in plowing snow for Ronnie Grooms and relished his time spent raccoon and rabbit hunting, fishing, horseback riding and trap shooting. These activities brought him peace and fulfillment, providing an outlet for the passions that defined his life.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Diane Ramsden; a son, Ivan (Sylivia) Sequeira; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Mike (Sheila) Ramsden and Rusty Ramsden; a sister, Lisa Spargur; aunt and uncle, Kay and Bob Roumeliote; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Each of them will carry forward the memories of his laughter, kindness and adventurous spirit.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Donna (Parker) Ramsden; and brother, Ryan Ramsden.

A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
