Cincinnati Boychoir members sing for Women's Club luncheon

On Tuesday, Dec. 8, the Hillsboro Women's Club holiday luncheon was held at the Highland House Museum. Christopher Ford (son of Mark and Joyce Ford) and Julian Thomas (son of Justin and Jodena Thomas), who are members of the Cincinnati Boychoir, provided entertainment. They sang eight Christmas songs, much to the delight of the 47 ladies who attended.

The Hillsboro Public Library has a display this month of hand-carved santas. There is a variety of different Santas. Stop by and take a peek; you may even find a Christmas book to check out.

Wildcats battle way to win over Mustangs
Entering the half with the game tied at 27, both the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs and Whiteoak Wildcats kept the game close up until the very end, but timely scoring and the prevention of a Mustangs rally near the end of the game gave the Wildcats their second win of the season as they defeated L-C 61-56 Tuesday night at LCHS.

Lady Mustangs fall to Warriors
After battling tough for three quarters the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs slowed down in the final eight minutes, allowing the Eastern Lady Warriors to gain a Southern Hills League win, defeating the Lady Mustangs 54-42 Monday night at EBHS.
