High wind warning issued

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning today for all of Highland County. Wind gusts of 60 mph are possible. Rain showers early in the day will likely switch to snow showers this afternoon. Some thunder is also possible. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Tonight: A slight chance of snow showers before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 19. Windy, with a west wind between 22 and 28 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 23. Breezy, with a west wind between 21 and 24 mph. 

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 14. West wind between 10 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. 

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 31. West wind between 9 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. 

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. 

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. 

Saturday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
