The first match of the 2024 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Tournament for boys golf took place on Tuesday (Sept. 10), where the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs led after the event held at the Hillsboro Elks.
The Lynchburg-Clay boys golf team faced the North Adams Green Devils, Peebles Indians, Whiteoak Wildcats and the Eastern Warriors and won the five-team match Monday evening.
The Lynchburg-Clay varsity high school soccer program didn’t allow a goal in two separate matches on Monday (Aug. 26), with both the boys and girls teams earning shutout wins against the host Ripley Blue Jays.

Three goals were more than enough needed by the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs on Wednesday (Aug. 21) victory, as they gained a Southern Hills Athletic Conference win over the visiting West Union Dragons, 3-0 at LCHS.
On Thursday (Aug. 22), the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs lost a Southern Hills Athletic Conference match to the host North Adams Lady Green Devils in three consecutive sets.
In a boys golf contest among teams from the Southern Hills Athletic Conference, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs won a tri-match against both the Whiteoak Wildcats and Eastern Warriors Monday at Friendly Meadows.
