Hillsboro Emblem Club 277 will meet in regular session 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 in the Elks basement meeting room.

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) and the Shawnee State University Occupational Therapy (OT) Program are once again joining together to provide education to the community through a Facebook livestream series, “Spring Into Healthy Aging.”

Among the Wilmington Public Library (WPL) projects the FOL supported financially in 2025 were furnishings for the new teen space (pictured) on the second floor as well as equipment for the new Makerspace and other technology additions.

To kick off Ohio 4-H Week, members of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club helped spread the word about 4-H in a creative and meaningful way.

To celebrate 4-H Week, members of Premier Showmen partnered with NCB Bank to create a window display showcasing just how udderly amazing 4-H can be!  Each milk carton in the display contains a fact about 4-H. 

Music At St. Mary’s is happy to announce our next concert. On March 15 at 3 p.m., the nave of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will ring with the sounds of two pianos being played by the eight hands of 4 PRAISE. 

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) will be hosting an Advisory Council Meeting on Thursday, March 19 and is inviting interested community members to attend and participate. The AAA7 covers ten core counties in southern Ohio, including: Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton.  

The annual Lenten concert presented by the musicians of the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, March 22. 

The Highland County Chapter of the Public Employees Retirees Inc. meeting will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12 at the Hi-TEC Center, 1575 North High Street, Hillsboro.

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club recently held a successful dine and donate fundraiser on Jan. 21 at Alley 21 Neighborhood Grille.

On Feb. 23, the Fur, Feathers, & Friends 4-H Club elected their 2026 officers.

Three agents with ERA Donald Fender Classic, Jenny Hilterbran, Shane Swayne and Rick Williams, received the Circle of Honor Award with ERA Real Estate.
