HHS student earns $10,000 scholarship to Wilmington College

Dylan P. Dobbs of Holladay Road, Hillsboro is the recipient of a $10,000 Wilmington College Achievement Award. The award distribution amount, which ranges from $10,000-$14,000, is based on the cumulative high school grade point average and ACT/SAT composite score. It is awarded upon acceptance to Wilmington College, regardless of need.

Undefeated Peebles beat Lions
Trailing 20-4 after the opening quarter, the Fairfield Lions battled back to within 10 of the Peebles Indians Tuesday night, but it wasn't enough as the undefeated Peebles team defeated the Lions 64-41 at Grandle Gymnasium.

Indians tame Panthers in SCOL battle
Battling back from a 10-0 run by the Miami Trace Panthers to open up the South Central Ohio League battle, the Hillsboro Indians dominated the final three quarters with team play by spreading the ball to open players, en route to a 61-47 win Tuesday night at Hillsboro High School.
