HHS student earns $10,000 scholarship to Wilmington College

Dylan P. Dobbs of Holladay Road, Hillsboro is the recipient of a $10,000 Wilmington College Achievement Award. The award distribution amount, which ranges from $10,000-$14,000, is based on the cumulative high school grade point average and ACT/SAT composite score. It is awarded upon acceptance to Wilmington College, regardless of need.
Dobbs, whose parents are Mark Dobbs of Hillsboro and Tina Worley of Chariss Avenue, Hillsboro, will be a 2010 graduate of Hillsboro High School.  He plans to major in agriculture business. His main school activities/honors include: FFA president and Highland County Pork Producer member.
Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers), is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, and has an enrollment of nearly 2,000 traditional and non-traditional students. The Blue Ash branch serves a large number of non-traditional students.
