Our federal government is no better than the citizens when it comes to responsible spending. We have gone from a national debt in the single digit trillions to the mid-30 trillions in less than 20 years.  The day of reckoning is coming for this, too, and we will all suffer from it.

Highland County Homeless Shelter will receive a $155,500 grant to operate a 28-bed emergency shelter in Highland County serving homeless men, women and households with children.

Highland County Historical Society announces "Jeopardy" – Highland County Edition.

The Annual Meeting of the Highland County Historical Society will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Highland House Museum at 151 East Main Street in Hillsboro.

The public is encouraged to attend the Highland County Senior Citizens Center's annual popular event, Healthy Halloween Senior Expo on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

On Saturday, Sept. 9, a group of Highland County amateur radio operators will assemble at the abandoned Fisherman’s Wharf concession stand to participate in the 16 annual Ohio State Parks On The Air amateur radio operating event.
