McClain hosts tri-match; HHS boys wins event

The Hillsboro Indians won a tri-team event hosted by the McClain Tigers on Thursday, Aug. 20 where Whiteoak was second, and the host Tigers were third at Buckeye Hills. 

HHS won with a team score of 173, and McClain’s Connor Chandler had the low individual score with 35 for match medalist.

Hillsboro’s scores included: Charlie Starks (43), Hunter Seeling (43), Brody Kelch (43), Logan Barton (44), Kyle Thoroman (46) and Marcus Bogard (46).

Whiteoak’s scores were: Caden Butler (42), Grady Roberts (44), Carson Hart (45), Haydon Stratton (49), Colton Lynch (49), Brayden Wolfenbarker (55), and Jake Kiley (43).

McClain had the following scores: Connor Chandler (35), Zander Lyons (45), Jax Vanzant (63), and Rilan Ballein (64).
