The Office of Healthy Ohio (OHO) will soon recognize 22 Ohio businesses for healthy worksite practices, including Adena Health System, one of only five employee worksites across the state to earn a Gold Award. In addition to the award from the state, Adena also recently received "gold" recognition by the American Heart Association as a "Fit Friendly Company."

Lindsey Grimes, of Hillsboro has been selected to receive a $1,500 academic scholarship to The Ohio State University. Sponsored by the Robert A. and Dorothy M. Hodson Family 4-H Scholarship Endowment Fund, the scholarship is awarded to one undergraduate student each year in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who attended high school in Highland County and completed at least one year of 4-H membership.
