Last second shot lifts Peebles past Mustangs

The Southern Hills League clash between the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs and the Peebles Indians came down to the final second with PHS senior Andrew Seaman pulling off the fourth quarter heroics, as he put the ball through the hoop off an inbounds pass with the buzzer sounding to keep the Indians' undefeated streak intact, defeating the host Mustangs 67-65 Friday night.

The Fairfield Lady Lions fought and clawed with the North Adams Lady Green Devils Thursday night for three and a half quarters, but it was the Lady Devils who caught fire in the final minutes as they clinched a share of the Division I Southern Hills League title, defeating the Lady Lions 66-54.

The southwest Ohio farming community is invited to an Ag-LINK Program seminar to be held 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the Appalachian Gateway Center on Southern State Community College’s South Campus, 12681 US Route 62, Sardinia. This program originally was scheduled to take place Feb. 9 but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Champions of Faith Gymnastics moves to new location
Champions of Faith Gymnastics (Crusaders Gymnastics) has moved its operation from 107 Eagle Martin Dr. in Blanchester to a new location at 2005 US 62 in Winchester.  The new location is situated between Hillsboro and Mt. Orab, and is accessible from several State Routes (SR321, SR32, SR131, SR134, SR138, SR73 and US 50/US 62 all lead to the facility), allowing the facility to still serve four counties including Brown, Clermont, Clinton and Highland.
