Adena Health System was recently chosen to receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Telemedicine program – one of 47 health care organizations from across the country to be awarded. The $226,467 grant, which was approved earlier this month, is part of some $28 million in funding earmarked for telemedicine projects and distance learning throughout the U.S.

Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Moyer died Good Friday, April 2 at a Columbus hospital, where he was admitted on April 1. Justice Moyer was the longest serving sitting state Supreme Court chief justice in the United States, died Friday at age 70.
