Wildcats plunked; take home extra inning win over rival Fairfield

Seven innings wasn't enough for the Whiteoak Wildcats and the Fairfield Lions to settle their Highland County and Southern Hills League feud. The longtime rivalry took nine innings along with a bases loaded hit by pitch to settle this round, with the Wildcats leaving Leesburg victors over the Lions, 3-2.

Greenfield council considers emergency legislation on ballot issue
The Greenfield City Council met in their regular session April 20 with three members present - enough to conduct the session and accept legislation, but not enough members to pass emergency legislation.
