Outstanding youth are being recognized by the announcement of this year’s winners of the Lisa A. Kisling Memorial Scholarships. These scholarships were established to assist youth who have been active in Highland County 4-H, FFA, or Farm Bureau. Each winner will receive a $500 scholarship that will be awarded at the Junior Beef Show at this year’s Highland County Fair on Thursday, September 9.
WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $268,375 has been awarded to the Brushcreek Township Volunteer Fire Department by the Federal Emergency Management Agency¹s (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG). The funds will be used for vehicle acquisition.
