The Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a new fire truck. The truck was purchased with the assistance of a Firefighters Grant in the amount of $249,850 awarded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Ohio's popular muzzleloader deer season is set to open statewide January 9-12 according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife. Last year, hunters checked 20,659 white-tailed deer during the statewide hunt.
