Playing their county rival Monday evening at Mitchell Park, the Hillsboro Indians put together enough runs to take home their second South Central Ohio League win of the season. HHS scored runs in three innings to gain the 8-5 win.

With two outs, MHS added six runs and had the winning run at the plate, but a catch by Heather Storer on a hard-hit line drive gave HHS the final out they needed to take an 8-6 South Central Ohio League win over the Lady Tigers.

New Directions will be holding a spring dinner on Saturday, April 10 from 5-7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, located at 457 Jefferson St. in Greenfield.

Southern State Community College is proud to present the Ohio Watercolor Society’s (OWS) 32nd annual touring exhibition “WatercolorOhio 2009” at the Appalachian Gateway Center on the college’s South Campus, 12681 U.S. Route 62, Fincastle. The exhibition is open for viewing from April 1-28, on Mondays from noon to 9 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. An open-house event will be held from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 22.
