Veterans Mobile Health Unit to make regular visits to Wilmington until new VA clinic opens

  Wilmington - U.S. Representative Michael R. Turner (R-Centerville) has announced a Veterans Mobile Health Unit is making regular visits to Wilmington this month, and encourages veterans in Clinton and Highland counties to take advantage of the service. Rep. Turner said he is grateful to Executive Director, Ray Souder and the Clinton County Veterans Service Office for taking the initiative in providing this very important service.

After a disappointing extra inning one run loss at Westfall over the weekend, the Fairfield Lady Lions returned to Southern Hills League action in a big way by blanking the Ripley Lady Blue Jays 9-0 Tuesday. Sophomore pitching ace Lauren Larrick was the main attraction at Fairfield High School by tossing a no-hitter, with 11 strikeouts.
