Mustangs rout Dragons 12-0 for SHL win

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs continued to score multiple runs in the early and late innings for a 12-0 shutout victory over the West Union Dragons Thursday at West Union High School.

Pedestrian struck and killed along North Shore Drive
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle crash, involving a pedestrian, which occurred April 30 on North Shore Drive. The accident claimed the life of the pedestrian, Chet Lung, 47, of Hillsboro, who was crossing North Shore Drive when he was struck by a 1992 Acura Integra driven by a 21-year-old Hilliard woman.

Lions fight off errors, defeat Rockets in extra innings
After miscues in the field allowed the Fayetteville Rockets to take the lead in the top of the seventh inning, the Fairfield Lions scored one run to tie the game and won the game off a base hit by Bobby Wilson to gain a 12-11 Southern Hills League win Thursday.
