The Hillsboro Indians put together a game plan of mostly running the football, with a few passes mixed in that ultimately allowed the home team to break away during the 2022 Rotary Bowl against the McClain Tigers.

The 2022 Frontier Athletic Conference cross-country meet took place Saturday, Oct. 15 at Mitchell Park in Greenfield.

When the Ohio High School Athletic Association decided to expand the football playoffs to 16 teams per region, it allowed the opportunity for double the schools to earn a spot in the playoffs. With many having mixed reactions to the decision, 2022 is the second year where 16 teams from each region will qualify for the state playoffs, and this year the Rotary Bowl means the most it has ever meant when it comes to the Hillsboro Indians hosting the McClain Tigers.

The Hillsboro Indians cross-country teams traveled to Greenfield’s Mitchell Park on Oct. 15 to compete in the Frontier Athletic Conference Championship Meet. Running on a cool Saturday morning, both teams turned in some of their finest times of the year. When the dust had settled, the Lady Indians walked away with a conference championship, while the men finished third.
