    Hustle and accuracy … along with timely hitting in the first inning all added up for the Whiteoak Wildcats once again this season, winning over Highland County rival Lynchburg-Clay, 6-3, in a game that had one of the most unique endings to a game in recent memory for either team.

    The Whiteoak Wildcats scored runs in just one inning, but the good thing was the first inning consisted of eight runs, en route to an 8-0 Southern Hills Athletic Conference win Thursday over the visiting North Adams Green Devils.
