Seven Ohio University football student-athletes were named to College Football Network's preseason First-Team All-MAC, as announced by the organization Aug. 1.

The Maxwell Football Club Monday (July 31) announced its watch list for the 87th Maxwell Award presented annually to the outstanding player in college football.

The NABC has announced the recipients of the 2022-23 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, representing outstanding achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and student-athletes. Along with the Ohio University men's basketball team earning team recognition, Ben Roderick and Dwight Wilson III were named to the Honors Court.

The 2023 Ohio University football team has been selected to finish first in the Mid-American Conference East Division in the 2023 MAC Football Head Coaches Preseason Poll, the league announced July 20. The poll was determined by the leagues' 12 head coaches.

The Ohio University football program landed 11 student-athletes on the Athlon 2023 All-MAC team, as announced by the publication May 24.

Former Ohio University football program safety Alvin Floyd will be joining the Ohio Bobcats' coaching staff as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, as announced by Director of Strength & Conditioning Jake Miller May 1.
