The McClain Tigers have opened the 2023 baseball season with four consecutive wins — a feat that hasn’t occurred for McClain baseball in over a decade — as they defeated the Paint Valley Bearcats against PVHS by a 4-0 score on Saturday, April 1.

A Greenfield man was sentenced to prison recently after pleading guilty to trafficking meth.

After two appointments in the same day with Greenfield City Manager Todd Wilkin, Highland County commissioners Terry Britton, David Daniels and Brad Roades agreed to honor their commitment to contribute $125,000 in grant match dollars toward Greenfield’s $3.4 million rail line project.
