Extension Agency provides many services to county

Many letters and articles have been written about the upcoming levy for the Highland County Extension Agency. Most of these have been focused on the potential removal of Highland County’s 4-H program as a result of this levy not passing. Although 4-H is a very important program, it is not the only service that the Extension Agency provides for our community, and it is important that the voters are aware of all that Extension has to offer.

Late rally not enough for Wildcats
The Whiteoak Wildcats rallied to break a tied ballgame at the top of the seventh inning. In the bottom half of the same inning, the North Adams Green Devils capitalized on miscues by the Wildcats as they defeated Whiteoak 6-5 Wednesday at NAHS.
