House Oversight Committee releases bombshell report exposing rampant fraud plaguing Minnesota’s taxpayer-funded social programs

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released a staff report today titled, “The Cost of Doing Nothing: How Tim Walz and Keith Ellison Fueled Minnesota’s Fraud Explosion.” The report exposes how senior Minnesota state officials, including Governor Walz and Attorney General Ellison, were aware of widespread taxpayer fraud in federally funded social programs for years, possessed the authority to stop payments and ban fraudulent providers from participating in these programs, but repeatedly failed to act.

We are facing a national emergency of fraud in federal programs that is impacting all Americans. According to the Government Accountability Office, the federal government is estimated to lose between $233 million and $521 billion annually to fraud across all federal programs and operations.

Property tax petition quest for Ohio ballot pushed to 2027
Organizers of a petition drive to get a proposed constitutional amendment banning property taxes on the ballot this fall need more time to gather the required number of signatures and are pushing the effort instead to 2027, Brian Massie, leader of Abolish Ohio Property Tax, said recently on the organization’s website AxOHTax.com.

Fishermen advocate begins campaign against offshore wind, ‘industrializing’ of the ocean
The campaign includes mobile billboards around Washington, D.C. during Ocean Week displaying phrases such as "They call it green energy...we call it INDUSTRIALIZING THE OCEAN” and "Thank you President Trump for defending commercial fishermen against offshore wind!" Ocean Week is an annual ocean and Great Lakes policy conference.

Not just a clock
Greg has kept the clock running for these past 20 years. By my calculations, Greg has lovingly wound the clock for over 400 weeks. As for me, I have been the lucky lady who basks in the time that my father created and that husband now carefully tends. I am fortunate indeed.
