The McClain Tigers took the Madison-Plains Golden Eagles to the brink of defeat Tuesday night at MPHS, but in the end the Golden Eagles scored just enough points in the overtime period to keep their perfect record alive as they defeated the Tigers 64-61.

The Marshall United Methodist Church will host its annual nativity and musical program at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20 at the Marshall gymnasium.

St. Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield will be offering free and delicious Christmas dinners to those in need.  They are available for pickup or delivery on Christmas day from noon-3 p.m. at the church on 218 S. 2nd St.
