An East Danville Road woman was killed Monday morning after she was struck by a vehicle outside of Paint Valley Supply, located at 123 W. Walnut Street in Hillsboro.

At 2:33 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, officers of the Hillsboro Police Department responded with personnel from Hillsboro Fire and Rescue to 241 West Pleasant St. on a report of a non-breath subject. Upon arrival, the subject was found to be deceased from an unknown cause.

In an effort to assist area nonprofit and charitable organizations in applying for grants, the Clinton County Foundation, in cooperation with the OSU South Centers and the Highland County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a grant-writing workshop on Monday, March 15, 10 a.m. – noon at the Hi TEC Center, 1575 N.
