Great American Ball Park will host professional softball for the first time on Sunday, Sept. 20, when the Atlanta Smoke of the Professional Softball League (PSL) take the field for an exhibition game following the Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago Cubs game.

Daveonte Dixon, 23, was sentenced this month for six first-degree felony offenses related to the May 2025 shooting of two Mifflin Township police officers and the shooting at four Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Sales of new single-family houses dropped more than 10% from June to July, as the average price of a new home grew by roughly 4%, a new U.S. Census Bureau report shows.

The Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash involving a pedestrian. The crash occurred today, Aug. 27, at approximately 4:10 a.m., on state Route 32 in Union Township, Clermont County.
