Two Hillsboro men were arrested March 19 after an altercation with local law enforcement officers. Arbie Bowen, 54, and James Rust, 40, were arrested early Monday morning. Bowen is charged with having a concealed weapon. Rust faces charges of resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, assault and having a firearm under disability.
The Georgetown Post will be conducting a safety belt enforcement blitz in Adams and Brown counties during the last half of March. It will be countywide, but will focus mainly on the lowest voluntary safety belt compliance areas.
