McClain's cross-country teams hosted the 2024 McClain Opener Saturday, Aug. 24.

Monday was a huge night for the Fairfield Lady Lions soccer team’s offense, as they dominated the Northwest Lady Mohawks on Aug. 26 by a 12-0 score.

Taking three sets on Monday night, the McClain Lady Tigers handed the Fairfield Lady Lions their first loss of the 2024 season, with MHS winning 3-0 at Grandle Gymnasium. 

Wednesday (Aug. 20) the Fairfield Lady Lions took home a Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory, defeating the host Whiteoak Lady Wildcats in three straight sets at WHS.

Thursday night in a non-conference meeting, the Hillsboro Indians didn’t allow a goal for a second consecutive game, this time defeating their Highland County rival, the Fairfield Lions by a 6-0 score at HHS.

The Hillsboro Lady Indians played well as a team, according to their head coach Amanda Miller, and in the process won at home on Thursday night against their visiting Highland County counterpart, the Fairfield Lady Lions, by a 4-3 score at Hillsboro High School.

The Fairfield Lions boys soccer team earned a big Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory on Wednesday evening with the Lions defeating the Ripley Blue Jays, 2-1 at Fairfield High School.

It took just three sets for the Fairfield Lady Lions volleyball team to gain a Southern Hills Athletic Conference win against the host Eastern Lady Warriors, Tuesday at EHS.

The Fairfield Lady Lions had a four-goal performance from Vivian Henninger en route to an 11-0 win over the Peebles Lady Indians in Southern Hills Athletic Conference action at PHS on Monday, Aug. 20.

Beginning their 2024 season on Saturday (Aug. 17), the Fairfield Lady Lions volleyball team battled with the visiting Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons, winning in five sets at FHS on the non-conference contest.

Fairfield sophomore Vivian Henninger began the 2024 season with a strong effort, collecting a hat trick as she and her Lady Lion teammates defeated the host Clinton-Massie Falcons, 5-1 Friday night at CMHS.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, the West Union Lady Dragons defeated the Fairfield Lady Lions by a 203-245 score in a contest between two teams from the Southern Hills Athletic Conference at the Buckeye Hills Country Club.
