    Lady Lions win in 3 straight over LC

    Coming off a tough loss the previous evening, the Fairfield Lady Lions moved their overall and Southern Hills League records back to the .500 mark as they defeated the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs in three-straight sets Wednesday at LCHS. The five-set loss to West Union motivated the Lady Lions against LC as FHS won by set scores of 25-12, 25-10 and 25-20, fighting off a Lady Mustang rally in the third set.

    During this month's Leesburg Village Festival, the Leesburg Lions Club sponsored a 5K walk/run which hosted 51 participants. The top runner was Fairfield High School student Michael Mangus, with a time of 17 minutes, 2 seconds.
