The season of the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats came to an end Thursday evening as they were defeated by the Notre Dame Lady Titans, 74-58 in their Division IV SE District Sectional final.

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats were clearly the better team in their Division IV SE District Sectional game, as they drew fouls and forced turnovers on their way to a 62-41 victory over the No. 8 seeded Green Lady Bobcats.

Coming off clinching the Southern Hills Athletic Conference Division II title the previous evening, the Whiteoak Wildcats took to the road the next night, nearly bringing home a win, as they were defeated 68-61 by the Cincinnati Christian Cougars Saturday night.

By the end of the evening, "We Are the Champions" was being played in the gym, as the Whiteoak Wildcats defeated the Manchester Greyhounds, 66-58 to clinch the Southern Hills Athletic Conference Division II championship.

It was another winning evening for the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs as they won the season series with their Highland County counterpart Whiteoak, 54-21 Thursday.
