Wilmington College is planting roots for a greener future. The College is holding its 14th annual Earth Day | Ag Day on April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Collett Mall near the Center for the Sciences and Agriculture. Sponsored by WC’s Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter, it’s a day for the campus to share the connection between the Earth and agriculture.

Art Brooks served as Wilmington College’s founding director of multicultural affairs for 19 years until his retirement in 2012. He was a mentor who reflected the institution’s mission, values and purpose. The College has named a student housing unit on the periphery of the campus in Brooks’ honor.

Wilmington College has engaged in a campuswide Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) installation project after securing 18 new AEDs that will replace older ones and expand the number of locations where the potentially lifesaving units are placed.
