LCHS, Whiteoak marching bands perform in Reds Opening Day parade

The Cincinnati Reds pitching struggled to find the strike zone on Opening Day as they walked nine Pittsburgh Pirates, three of whom went on to score, in a 5-4 Bucs' victory March 30.

Prior to the game, the Reds' Opening Day festivities included the annual parade, which included marching bands from Lynchburg-Clay High School and Whiteoak High School.

The series continues with a 4:10 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, April 1 at Great American Ball Park. Rich Hill will start for the Pirates, and Nick Lodolo will start for Cincinnati.
