The Hillsboro Lady Indians traveled to face the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs in a match between two teams who had 16 wins, one loss and two ties combined on the season entering Saturday's non-league Highland County rivalry matchup. This week is the midway point of the high school football season. Teams are starting to make their mark in the South Central Ohio League, while others are worrying about improving on the little things each week.

The Fairfield Lions scraped and clawed all 80 minutes, and in the end they put together enough offense, mixed with top-notch defense to defeat the Unioto Shermans 2-1 Thursday night.
