Hillsboro 3rd, McClain 6th at FAC No. 5 event

The Hillsboro Indians and McClain Tigers continued to play in Frontier Athletic Conference play, with the most recent match being the FAC No. 5 event in Chillicothe.

Team finishes included Jackson winning the match with a score of 155, followed by Miami Trace in second place at 158. In third was Hillsboro with a score of 164. In fourth place was Chillicothe with a score of 167, followed in fifth place by Washington at 172, and sixth place was McClain with a team score of 188.

Hillsboro’s top round was senior Conner Kelch with a fourth place score of 37. Also in the top 10 with a finish of seventh place was Hillsboro junior Brody Kelch with a score of 39.

HHS also had scores from senior Charlie Starks (44), sophomore Hunter Seeling (44), sophomore Kyle Thoroman (47) and senior Logan Barton (50).

McClain’s top scorer was junior Connor Chandler with a score of 42 for 10th place. The rest of McClain’s scores included: junior Matthew Cummins (45), junior Zander Lyons (46), freshman Haydn Faulconer (55), sophomore Braydon Weinrich (63) and sophomore Jax Vanzant (69).

Winning the individual standings was Jackson senior Dalton Kight with a score of 35.
