Whiteoak wins at Bethel-Tate
The Whiteoak Wildcats boys bowling team won on the road at Batavia Bowl Dec. 19 against Bethel-Tate by a 2165-1803 score.
The win against their non-conference opponent saw the Wildcats be led in total wins by Shawn Mitchell at 361 (161, 200), and next was Nicholi Wing with a 283 pin total (148, 135). Next was Macaulay Wing at 281 (157, 124) in two games played.
Playing in one game each for WHS were Connor Wiscarver (130), Cody Richard (129), and Gabe Ulrey (126) as Whiteoak’s team regular-game total was 1310.

Hillsboro wins at home over Chillicothe
Bowling at home in a Frontier Athletic Conference contest on Monday, Dec. 22, the Hillsboro Lady Indians stayed undefeated in conference action by defeating the visiting Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers, 2613-1833.
Hillsboro’s dominant performance at Highland Lanes saw them collect a regular-game total of 2038 with game scores of 956 and 1082. The Lady Indians’ Baker total was 575 with scores of 236, 182 and 157.
Hillsboro’s top pin total was Rylie Ison at 458 with games of 222 and 236. Rylee Moyer finished with a score of 441 at 198 and 243.
Also for the Lady Indians, Madison Nichols had a pin total of 415 (179, 236), while teammate Cami Miller finished with a total of 376 pins (180, 196). HHS saw Sidney Bayless total 348 pins in the match (177, 171).

Hillsboro gains FAC win over Chillicothe
The Hillsboro Indians defended their home lanes Monday, Dec. 23 by defeating the visiting Chillicothe Cavaliers 2633-1950 at Highland Lanes in Hillsboro.
Hillsboro totaled 2002 regular-game pins, as they were led by Camden Lively with a pin total of 474 (233, 241), and next was Quentin Gall at 427 (189, 238) for the Indians.
The Indians also had a score of 372 (204, 168) by Steven Rodgers, while Jay Reno scored a 361 pin total (179, 182).
Bowling in one game each were Cylas Everetts at 192 and Austin Huff at 176.
Hillsboro’s Baker total was 641 (232, 192, 217).

Tigers boys bowling falls to Jackson in FAC action
The McClain Tigers suffered a Frontier Athletic Conference loss on Monday, Dec. 22 in a match at Highland Lanes, as they were defeated by the Jackson Ironmen at 2475-2194.
For the Tigers, Cullen Beatty finished at 391 with game scores of 157 and 234. The Tigers had a pin total from Shayne Adams at 356 with game scores of 215 and 141.
McClain’s Dartanyen Hooley finished at 352 (166, 186), and next was Paul Royse at 332 (154, 178). Also for MHS was Evan Kinnison at 256 (118, 138).
The Tigers had a regular-game total of 1687 (810, 876) with a Baker total of 507 (170, 232, 105).

McClain Lady Tigers fall to host Jackson in FAC battle
The McClain Lady Tigers faced Frontier Athlete Conference rival Jackson on Monday, Dec. 22 in an away match and fell by a 2149-2026 score.
McClain was led in pin totals by Miya Cook at 413 with a game total that consisted of 190 and 223. MHS saw Natalie Stroud have a pin total of 389 (181, 208).
Autumn Uhrig finished with a pin total of 263 (124, 139) for the Lady Tigers, while teammates Samantha Lancaster totaled a score of 244 (134, 110). McClain’s Baylee Hickok finished with a score of 118 in one game.
The Baker total for McClain was 483 (169, 144, 170).

Hillsboro gains win over Unioto
Bowling in a competitive non-conference contest on Monday, Dec. 29, the Hillsboro Indians boys bowling team defeated the Unioto Shermans, 2537-2417.
The Indians totaled a regular-game score of 1912 (967, 945) in the two-game match, along with a Baker total of 625 (226, 196, 203).
Hillsboro’s leader in pin total for this contest was Camden Lively with a score of 428, as his game totals were 238 and 190. Quentin Gall had a pin total of 412 with games of 222 and 190.
Next for Hillsboro in pin total was Austin Huff at 391 as his totals for two games played were 168 and 223. Jay Reno finished with a 351 total at 180 and 171. The Indians also had Steven Rodgers have a pin total of 330 at 159 and 171.
The win gives the Indians a 10-0 overall record this season.

Lady Indians topple Unioto
The Hillsboro Lady Indians gained a non-conference victory at Highland Lanes on Monday, Dec. 29 by defeating the visiting Unioto Lady Shermans, 2563-1921.
HHS saw Rylie Ison have an outstanding match with game scores of 240 and 238 for a pin total of 478 to lead the Lady Indians.
Next was Sidney Bayless at 394 with her pin totals being 149 and 245. Riley Clemons of HHS totaled 375 pins with games of 196 and 179.
The Lady Indians also had Cami Miller finish at 340 with games of 190 and 150, while teammate Rylee Moyer totaled 328 pins at 160 and 168.
Hillsboro regular games total was 1915 (935, 980), and their Baker total was 648 (211, 230, 207).
The win improves Hillsboro’s overall record to 10-0.
