The success of the 2025-26 high school girls basketball season was on full display on Monday, as the All-Ohio lists were released by the Ohio Prep Sport Media Association (OPSMA), and Highland County was well-represented with seven girls basketball players selected.

All five Highland County high schools in the OHSAA were represented, with Hillsboro and McClain each having two representatives in Division IV, while Lynchburg-Clay and Fairfield had players named in Division VI, and Whiteoak was represented in Division VII.

In Division IV, Hillsboro and McClain — the co-champions of the Frontier Athletic Conference — each had one All-Ohio special mention selection and one All-Ohio honorable mention selection.

The special mention selection for Hillsboro was junior Tylee Davis, and for McClain it was junior Paisley Pryor.

Davis played in 24 games where she averaged a double-double as a junior with 18.4 points per game (442) and 11.7 rebounds per game (281). She also had season averages of 2.6 assists per game (62), 3.5 steals per game (83) and shot 44.5 percent from the field (149-335), with a 74.2-percent average from the free-throw line (115-of-155). She also made nearly 35 percent of her 3-pointer attempts, finishing the season with 29 made 3-pointers.

Davis also collected nine blocks as a junior.

Pryor had another strong season, with the junior averaging 17.6 points per game as she passed the 1,000-point scoring club for McClain by scoring 450 points this season. She also averaged 8.9 rebounds per game (161), 2.6 assists per game (46), 2.8 steals per game (51), and she shot 38.2 percent from the field and 65.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Pryor also collected 10 blocks this season and made 120 field goals, including 13 3-pointers, and was 64-of-98 from the free-throw line.

The Div. IV All-Ohio honorable mention selections were Hillsboro senior Kobie Miles and McClain junior Larah Henson.

Hillsboro’s Miles finished her senior season with 24 games played as she averaged 10.5 points per game (253) and 3.0 rebounds per game (71). She also had 1.8 assists per game (44), 2.1 steals per game (51) and she shot 74.1 percent from the free-throw line (80-of-108).

Miles also made 76 field goals, including 21 3-pointers, this season and collected one block.

McClain’s Henson averaged 9.7 points per game (213) with 9.1 rebounds per game (154). She also averaged 1.8 assists per game (31) and 1.4 steals per game (24).

Henson also made 58 field goals this season, including 14 3-pointers, and she was 39-of-66 from the free-throw line. Henson also collected 10 blocks for the ’25-26 season.

The Division VI All-Ohio selections from Highland County were both named honorable mention, and they were Lynchburg-Clay sophomore Lily Ferguson and Fairfield senior Rilee Quickle.

For Lynchburg-Clay, Ferguson played in 22 games her sophomore season, and she didn’t disappoint with 12.9 points per game (284 points), with 2.3 rebounds per game (50), 1.6 assists per game (35), 3.1 steals per game (68), and she also had seven 3-pointers and two blocks for the season.

The Division VII All-Ohio selection from Whiteoak was senior Kyra Boyd, who was also an honorable mention selection.
