23 Highland County baseball players named All-Southeast District

The 2025 All-Southeast District baseball teams have been released, with coaches selecting 23 baseball players, along with one coach, from Highland County as honorees this spring.

Lynchburg-Clay head coach James Flowers was named Division V West Coach of the Year.
 
First-team honors went to Hillsboro’s Zack Brown for the Division II/III team; McClain’s Cohen Six for Division IV; Lynchburg-Clay’s Cole Wells and Braedon West in Division V; and Whiteoak’s Zander Roades and Jacen Applegate and Fairfield’s Zane Matthews and Corbin Willey, all in Division VII.

Named to the second team were Hillsboro’s Luke Holland (Div. II/III), McClain’s Connor Chandler (Div. IV), Lynchburg-Clay’s Christian Flowers (Div. V), Fairfield’s Blaine Fauber and Corey Zimmerman and Whiteoak’s Jonah Michael.

Honorable mention recognition went to Lynchburg-Clay’s Josiah Burns in Division V and Whiteoak’s Izayah Clift and Jacob Kiley in Division VII.

Special mention selections included Hillsboro’s Wesley Bailey and Brayden Hunter in Div. II/III; McClain’s Alex Perie in Division IV; Lynchburg-Clay’s Cody Bell and Asher Faust in Division V; and Fairfield’s Otis Cockerill in Division VII.
