New class starting Nov. 5 The Silver Liners Line Dancers will offer a new class for beginners on Thursdays from noon-12:30 p.m., right before the regular Line Dancing practice. Come on in and learn the steps and stay to watch the more experienced dancers. You’ll be joining them in no time. Cost is $1 per class.

Eagles riders of the Hillsboro, Ohio Eagles Club #1161 recently conducted a Poker Run with proceeds benefiting Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley. The Event was coordinated by Judy Roberts who has had firsthand experience with Hospice of Hope and the quality end-of life services that were provided to her mother.
Whew! with Halloween "spirited" away, it's now time to realize that the serious holidays are just around the corner and it may be time for that annual visit to Christmas at the Cabin.
Farmers were finally blessed with a few consecutive days of nice weather last week that allowed them to make some progress with harvest. The good news is that the corn and soybean yields reported thus far have been excellent. The discouraging news is that we have a long way to go before harvest is completed.
