It is once again time for the 108th annual Buford Farmers' Institute. This year, it will be held on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Clay Township Park building in Buford. It will begin at 7 p.m.

The Lynchburg Lions Club hosted Second Vice District Governor Lion Sherry Bingamon and her husband, Jim, at its monthly dinner meeting on Jan. 23 at Lynchburg. Sherry is from the Mt. Orab Lions Club and she discussed various Lions Club activities and upcoming events.

The 2011 Highland County Fair was held on Sept. 3-10, 2011. The Lynchburg Clay FFA had many students participate in the Highland County Fair this year. There were a variety of animals that the students took to the fair.

During American Heart Month, Home Helpers of Hillsboro is creating awareness against fighting this disease by improving heart-healthy habits and raising awareness in local homes and communities.
