On Dec. 6, the McClain FFA officer team got together to go Christmas shopping for 13 children. Each year, the chapter adopts children of various ages from the Greenfield Elementary School so that they have presents to open on Christmas day.
The Highland County Homeless Shelter clients have selected Operation Christmas Child as part of the shelter’s way of giving back to those in need. Fifty boxes were packed and are on their way to children around the world.
Hillsboro Christian Academy has filled 50 boxes for Operation Christmas Child this year, as Operation Christmas Child observes National Collection Week through Nov. 23.
Sunday, Nov. 15 marked the 10th anniversary of longtime Chamber member West Main Urgent Care, who celebrated the milestone with a ribbon-cutting with the Highland County Chamber of Commerce.
The Daily Grind Café and Bakery reopened on Oct. 22 under new ownership and hit the ground running. Within two weeks of opening, the business was running smoothly and celebrated a grand opening ribbon-cutting with the Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 6.
