The Lynchburg Lions Club held its regular dinner meeting Jan. 19 at the Lions Club building in Lynchburg. The club heard presentations from District Gov. Rachelle Powers, First District Gov. Ben Dunn and Second Vice District Gov. Tony Winner.

These Lions Club members are the highest-ranking officers in District 13-OH6. Powers is from the Mad River Lions Club, and Dunn and Winner are members of the Wilmington Lions Club.

All three did an excellent job of updating the Lynchburg Lions Club about district, state and international Lions events and service projects.

The Lynchburg Lions Club was honored to host these great Lions Club officers. Also accompanying the Lions was Lion Staci Winner, who serves on the global service team and helps coordinate the winter retreat.

Following the presentations, the club conducted a variety of business items and plans for service projects in the coming months.
