The Lynchburg Lions Club will have their monthly pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, April 3, at the Lynchburg Lions Club/Gun Club Building on Sharpsville Road in Lynchburg.
The 2010 District 14 All-Star Classic is set to tip-off on Thursday, April 1 at Eastern Pike High School. Both games will feature players from both the South Central Ohio League and Southern Hills League, along with other players from the District 14 area.

Jane Eileen Riley, daughter of Susan and Kirk Riley of Hillsboro, graduated summa cum laude from Wilmington College on Dec. 17, 2009, with a bachelor's degree in social work. On Jan. 8, Jane fulfilled the requirements to become a licensed social worker.
A group of volunteers in Highland County is striving to make a difference in the community and is asking for additional help. The volunteer project will take place on Join Hands Day, Saturday, May 1, a national day of service sponsored by Modern Woodmen of America and other fraternal benefit societies.
