Tuesday’s debate was supposed to take place at a critical time – with two Republican candidates consistently running ahead of their Democratic counterparts, none of whom has broken out of a crowded field. It also was set to occur less than two months before the state planned to send ballots to every registered voter.

“People think I’m kidding when I say there is a fraud lobby, but there are absolutely powerful interest groups that lobby Congress to preserve the ease with which people can get money from these programs,” Cannon said. “With health the largest category of federal spending, those programs are vastly more complex, and subsidy recipients have even less patience for antifraud measures.”

As announced by the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Crew and City of Columbus have been selected to host nine LA28 Olympic Football (Soccer) Tournament matches in 2028. Marking the first official Olympic Games competitions in Ohio, the Club and city will welcome a combined eight men’s and women’s group stage matches (July 10-11, July 13-14 and July 16, 2028) and a men’s quarterfinal fixture on July 20, 2028. Kickoff times and opponents will be announced at a later date.

The SAVE America Act allows at least five documents to show proof of citizenship, including government-issued records that show a person was born in the U.S. or has been naturalized, including a valid U.S. passport; a certified birth certificate; a naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship; a Consular Report or Birth Abroad for citizens born overseas; or a government-issued ID showing U.S. citizenship. 

NASA has abandoned its plans to build a lunar-orbiting space station and will instead use those resources to construct a $20 billion permanent base on the moon, scheduled for completion within seven years.
