The ninth annual Fairfield Alumni Basketball Tournament was held Saturday, April 3. There were 49 participants in the event, and there were a number of competitive games throughout the day. Players from the classes of 2008 and 2009 won this year's tournament.

Throughout the year, the South Campus of Southern State Community college exhibits several works from local artists each month. The current exhibit, which runs throughout April, features Wilmington painter David Kline.
