The New Vienna Community Church will host a concert featuring Soul Scape on Sunday, March 1 at 6 p.m. to kick off the “March through Lent” Sunday evening celebrations.

A detention hearing was held Monday, Feb. 23 before Judge Kevin L. Greer in Highland County Common Pleas Court Probate/Juvenile Division for a 17-year-old male suspect in a Feb. 20 shooting in Paint Township.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a light earthquake occurred Sunday morning near Hillsboro, Ohio. It had a magnitude of 2.5 and its intensity is a level 4 on a scale of 1 to 10.
